Make a Tote Bag! We all need a bag for life - make this one yours, to your own style and colour!
 
This course is ideal to develop your sewing skills - especially after completing the learning to use your sewing machine workshop. You will learn how to sew straight seams and an understanding of seam allowances, in addition to cutting out your fabric using your pattern supplied. You can also try out some of your decorative stitching your machine may have if you have brought your own, or alternatively use our machines.
 
You will need two fabric choices - one for the main bag and one for the lining. A fabric with some weight for the outer main bag is perfect, like curtain fabric or denim or canvas. And a lighter cotton weight fabric for the lining!
 
You will need a minimum of 60cm in length of at least 115cm width fabric for the outer bag, and approx 50cm in length of at least 100cm width fabric for the lining of the bag.

After completing the two and a half hour class, you will have a lovely tote bag!
 
Workshop booking includes a pattern for making the bag which you can take away with you to then make again and again. They make brilliant Birthday and Christman presents!
