May 2025's Monthly Make!

Please excuse the face as I was looking into the sun! :-)

This month I made the Madden Skirt by Tessuti Patterns in a Fabric Godmother Riviera linen viscose mix fabric we stock here at New Forest Sewing Studio. The only modification I had to make to the pattern was to shorten it as I am 5ft 2 inches tall. The knife pleats give this skirt a flowy roomy fit, just perfect for the warm summer months ahead. It does have one inseam pocket on the right side seam.

For June's monthly make I will be making the Closet core Rika Pants in our Poppy Red 10oz Organic Denim, and as always I will record a sew-along.
