So this month we made the Isabella Dress by Serendipity Studio Patterns in our gorgeous Fabric Godmother Melissa Viscose Linen Fabric. And I think I may have found the sunshine!!
This pattern has a lovely empire line shape to the front of the dress and a curved hem at the back of the dress. A panelled skirt gives a lovely flattering shape whilst loose and comfortable skimming the body. This linen/viscose fabric is ideal as offers lovely drape whilst having some weight to it also.
The pattern offers length variations and also binding options to give a contrast of colour to the empire line, sleeve cuffs and hemline.
The instructions are very informative and of course we also have a sew-along on our YouTube channel which you can view via the link below.
So next month for June I will be making the Atelier Jupe Grace Jacket in our Noah Navy 8oz brushed organic cotton twill - well lets face it we don't get sunshine very day! And with the British weather you are sure to need a lightweight jacket!
There will be a full length coat zip, but I am just waiting for the delivery man to bring them!!
Of course I will record a sew-along for our YouTube Channel to help anyone with their sewing - so Happy Sewing to you all :-)
