Firstly I apologise for the lateness of this blog post. It has been a hectic month here at New Forest Sewing Studio. Some of you lovely subscribers may know but some of you many not, that I have been studying for a Pattern Cutting Diploma which I completed on the 3rd of June and also my lovely daughter got married last weekend! So my sewing time has been a little more limited than usual!
So enough about excuses and more about the sewing!!
For June we made up the Esther shorts by Tessuti Patterns in our lovely 8oz organic cotton twill, and also the Tavi Top by Tessuti Patterns in our Cloud 9 100% cotton fabric.
Both patterns are a straightforward sew and the detail and photographs in the Tessuti pattern instructions are very concise and clear, with some very nice details to obtain a neat finish to your garment.
The pictures below show both patterns being worn together which I think complement each other and perfect for this warm summer weather.
I am in the process - all be it a longer process than usual for some reason, of uploading the Sew-along Videos to you tube. You can view the you tube video's using this link below:
or alternative scan the QR code below:
So onwards to July's monthly make - I thought we would try something a little different this month and make the Range Backpack by Noddlehead patterns. As always a sew-along will be uploaded to you-tube detailing its construction.
