So this month for July I made the Named Patterns Isla Trench Coat in our Mind the Maker Cotton Twill in Indigo. This is a fully lined trench coat with a straight cut and double breasted closure, with lots of details - welt pockets, two piece collar with collar strap, a cape, tie belt and sleeve tabs. I love this coat!! and know I will get plenty of wear when the autumn arrives.
This is described as a master level pattern which I would agree with, but the pattern instructions are good and I have also made a YouTube video sew-along of the more technical construction details to help anyone who may benefit from a more visual learning approach. Here is the link below:
So for August's Sew-along I will be making the Deer and Doe Patterns Bleuet Dress which has been on my sewing to-do list for a while!!
