April 2025's Monthly Make!

This month I made the Monsterfabriken Lizzie Skirt Pattern.

This is a wrap skirt with good coverage for the wrap over, and an amazing asymmetrical pocket layout design. It is interesting in its construction with a waistband facing with the addition of a front outer waistband to allow for the inset front pocket - a very clever and well thought out design.

I made it up in our 11.5oz Ecru Cotton Denim but it would look amazing also in a twill, canvas or a linen for the summer!

The instructions are clear and detailed but I have also recorded a Sew-along on our YouTube channel with more detail should you need it?

As spring has finally sprung! Next month for May I will be making the Tessuti Madden Skirt in our Fabric Godmother Riviera Linen Viscose fabric.
